Symptoms
- Signal bars but no internet
- Stopped working right after switching data line
- Very slow speed
- "Activation failed" message
Try in This Order
Step 1. Toggle Airplane Mode
The simplest and most effective fix.
- Control Center: Airplane mode ON → wait 10s → OFF
This solves 70% of cases.
Step 2. Recheck eSIM Line & Roaming State

In Settings > Cellular:
- ✅ eSIM (travel) line ON
- ✅ eSIM line Data Roaming ON
- ✅ Default data = eSIM
- ✅ Korean SIM Data Roaming OFF
Step 3. Enter APN Manually
If auto-connect doesn't work, enter APN directly.

Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network- Enter the APN value from esimoa (often
internetor the provided string) - Username / password usually blank
Step 4. Manual Network Selection
Useful when auto-select picks the wrong carrier.

Settings > Cellular > eSIM Line > Network Selection- Turn Automatic OFF
- Pick the carrier indicated by esimoa (search can take a while)
Still Not Working?
- Restart iPhone (full power off)
- Toggle the eSIM line off and on while on Wi-Fi
- Contact support with ICCID, country, and a screenshot
FAQ
- What if I see "Activation failed"? → Don't delete and reinstall. Contact support first — some plans charge for re-issuance.
- Is slow speed normal? → Some countries deprioritize roaming. Try manual network selection.
