What to Do After Returning Home

  1. Keep data roaming OFF on your Korean SIM
  2. Turn off data roaming on the eSIM line
  3. Switch default data line back to your Korean SIM
  4. Disable or delete the eSIM line

⚠️ Leaving the eSIM line on means data roaming may auto-activate on your next trip and charge you.

On iPhone

Option 1. Just turn the eSIM line off (for re-use)

Select eSIM Turn line off

In Settings > Cellular > Travel Line, toggle "Turn On This Line" OFF.

Option 2. Delete eSIM completely

Go to Settings > Cellular > Travel Line > Delete eSIM.

⚠️ Most plans can't be reinstalled with the same QR code once deleted. If you plan to reuse, just turn it off.

Restore Default Line

No eSIM Update

After deletion, set "Cellular Data" back to your Korean SIM.

On Android · Galaxy

Option 1. Turn eSIM line off

Manager eSIM off

In Settings > Connections > SIM Manager, toggle the eSIM line OFF.

Option 2. Delete eSIM

Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Travel Line > Delete.

Turn data roaming off

Roaming off

Disable Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Data roaming.

FAQ

  • Am I charged if I don't delete? → No, as long as the line and data roaming are off.
  • Can I reuse the same eSIM on my next trip? → Most plans are one-time. New trips need a new QR. See FAQ.
