What Is Country Lock?
A country-level lock Korean carriers (SKT, KT, LGU+) apply to devices. Once you land abroad, the device blocks foreign carriers, and your travel eSIM stops working.
- Usually applied within the first 90 days after activation
- No effect inside Korea
- Symptoms only appear after going abroad
Find Your IMEI

2. Register / verify IMEI

Some carriers require entering the IMEI as part of the process.
3. Turnaround

- Restart the device after release
If You Can't Unlock
- Outside contract: Usually auto-released after contract ends or 90 days

- Lost/stolen flag: Carrier branch visit required
After Unlocking
Follow iOS Install or Android Install.
If foreign carriers still don't appear, check the manual network selection step in Troubleshooting.
