What Is Country Lock?

A country-level lock Korean carriers (SKT, KT, LGU+) apply to devices. Once you land abroad, the device blocks foreign carriers, and your travel eSIM stops working.

  • Usually applied within the first 90 days after activation
  • No effect inside Korea
  • Symptoms only appear after going abroad
