Symptoms

  • Signal but no internet
  • APN not auto-populated
  • Wrong roaming carrier selected
  • Very slow speed

Try in Order

Step 1. Toggle Airplane Mode + Restart

  • Notification panel: Airplane mode ON → 10s → OFF
  • If still failing, fully power off and restart

Step 2. Recheck eSIM Line / Mobile Data / Roaming

In Settings > Connections > SIM Manager:

  • ✅ eSIM (travel) line ON
  • ✅ Mobile data = eSIM
  • ✅ Data roaming ON
  • ✅ Korean SIM roaming OFF

Step 3. Manual Carrier Selection

When auto-select grabs the wrong carrier:

Roaming carrier eSIM

  1. Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network operators
  2. Disable Automatic and search available carriers
  3. Pick the one esimoa indicated (or the strongest signal)

Step 4. Manual APN Entry

Android LTE

  1. Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names (APN)
  2. Add — fill APN name, APN, MCC, MNC etc. from esimoa
  3. Set the new APN as default

Still Not Working

  • Force LTE-priority (Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network mode > LTE/3G/2G auto)
  • Toggle eSIM line OFF → ON while on Wi-Fi
  • Try activating during local business hours (some new lines have delays)
  • Contact support with ICCID, country, and a screenshot

FAQ

  • APN entered but still nothing? → Make sure the new APN is set as default. Then toggle airplane mode once more.
  • Very slow speed. → LTE-only region, or the carrier deprioritizes roaming. Try a different carrier manually.
