Offline saving: Save the Macau Peninsula, Taipa, and Cotai for offline use (about 30MB) — a small area means a small file.
Bus routes: Major Macau bus routes (3, 4, 10A, 32, etc.) are reflected in Google Maps.
Historic district walks: Major heritage sites are concentrated within a 1km radius of Senado Square — plan your walking route with Google Maps.

Tip: Free casino/hotel shuttles get far more use than public transit in Macau. Major casinos like The Venetian, Galaxy, MGM, and Sands run free shuttles from the ferry terminal, border gate, and airport — you can ride them for free even without gambling.

💡 Tip: Buses are cheap in Macau, but the free casino shuttles are even more convenient. Hopping from the Venetian shuttle to the Galaxy shuttle to the Lisboa shuttle can save you a lot on transport costs.

Advantage: Regular Macau taxi drivers often don't speak much English. Since Uber lets you set the destination in the app, there's no language barrier.
Fares: Similar to or slightly higher than regular Macau taxi fares.
Wait times: Because it's a small city, dispatch times tend to be short.
Tip: Uber is convenient for visiting Coloane Village (a UNESCO heritage village) or Macau Tower, both far from the casino strip.
Caution: Taxi/Uber demand rises at night (especially on weekends), which can delay dispatch — prioritize casino shuttles instead.
