Quick Check
iPhone
Settings > General > About — if you see "Digital SIM" or "EID", your device supports eSIM.
Android (incl. Galaxy)
Settings > Connections > SIM Manager — if "Add eSIM" is present, you're good.
💡 Carrier unlock is also required. Some Korean-locked devices reject foreign eSIMs even when the slot is present.

For these brands the same model name can differ by sales region. Mainland China and India units frequently ship without eSIM — check the EID on the actual handset before buying.

- Carrier locked
- Korean country lock — see Country Lock
- Very old firmware — update and retry
